Bombing of Darwin
Produced by Haycom on behalf of The RFDS Tourist Facility Darwin.
The Bombing of Darwin VR installation was a guided VR experience depicting the bombing of Darwin by the Japanese military during WWII. The project was highly ambitious, dealing with cutting edge video and audio technology (the first public VR installation in Australia to utilise HTRF audio and 4Kx4K video).
EXP provided technical consultancy and development resources to combine the standalone video and audio assets (produced by Method and Nylon studios respectively) into a singular VR environment.
Developed using Unity, SteamVR SDK, Renderheads AVPro and Facebook 360 Audio SDK
